Compose Settings Tab¶
The Compose Settings tab allows configuring some of the Compose properties that pertain to Compose version, Compose connection timeouts, query export, and result set formatting. This tab is only visible to Server Admins:
Note
The switch Compose “My Queries” on Home Page only applies to Alation versions older than V R4 (5.8.x) that do not have the Customizable Homepage and use the default homepage. From release 2020.3.x, Customizable Homepage can be configured on the Customize Homepage tab of the Admin Settings.
There are more Compose settings in Compose UI, under Settings, which can be configured by each Compose user individually to fine-tune their Compose experience:
